The Flow Administration Guide is intended for anyone wishing to configure Flow for their business. This guide provides a detailed description of the Flow Designer user interface and how it can be used to configure Actions. It then explains how to schedule Actions under FlowService for execution.
For those interested in knowing how to operate Flow on a daily basis (eg monitor performance and check logs) please refer to the Operating Flow section of this manual. This section is also extracted as a separate document called Flow Operation Guide.
The best way to use this guide is to sit down at your computer with a copy of Flow and work through the guide from start to finish. If you come across a section that you understand already then simply skip it and move on. The guide is laid out in such a way that it follows the normal process our own consultants use when configuring Flow.
If you get tired of the technical detail and just want to get to a worked example then look for the Examples sections spattered throughout the guide. These provide step by step outlines to performing common tasks. In some cases there is also online video taking you through the process.
For those interested in embedding Flow within your own applications please refer to the Developing with Flow section of this manual. This section is also extracts as a separate document called Flow Developers Guide
